The Primary Years Programme (PYP) offers an opportunity for students to acquire essential skills in an atmosphere where deeper understanding of concepts is nurtured. The programme caters for students from the age of 6 to 11. Educators build on students' prior knowledge to drive teacher/student constructed research projects within the conceptual framework of the curriculum. The programme is committed to enquiry as a vehicle for learning through the concepts of form, function, causation, change, connection, perspective, responsibility and reflection. Educators endeavour to develop individuals who will continue exploring their gifts and talents as lifelong learners, demonstrating positive attitudes towards people and the environment, successfully contributing to society.
